Let Us Watch
The Finals
We are asking building management to extend amenity access past 10pm on Wednesday, June 10 so tenants can watch the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals together.
Why This Matters
The New York Knicks are in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999 and are chasing their first championship since 1973. That is a 53 year drought. Every person alive in this building has spent their entire life without seeing the Knicks win a title. This is not just a basketball game. This is a generational moment for New York City.
The Knicks are playing the San Antonio Spurs and have a real shot at ending one of the longest championship droughts in professional sports. The game falls on Wednesday, June 10 and tip-off will run past 10pm. The current amenity cutoff means tenants cannot watch the most important Knicks game in over two decades together in the space we pay for every single month.
We are not asking for a permanent policy change. We are asking for a one time exception for one of the most historic nights New York sports fans have seen in a generation. Please sign and show management that this matters to our community.
